Bionical Gardens!

AKA, Botanical Gardens. Last Friday we had some friends come in town from Baton Rouge to stay the weekend with us and float the river. Griff took a half day from work and they went to Barton Springs to swim cause it’s been hot as blazes round these parts. They also went to the Austin Botanical Gardens and Griff kept calling it the Bionical Gardens. I unfortunately had to work that day so I couldn’t go but apparently they had a blast! Here are some pictures, enjoy!

When they got back to our house, {I still wasn’t home yet}, they decided to swing on the swing in our front yard. {Left from the previous home owners.}

Brett apparently has a thing for climbing trees. Seriously he was climbing trees all weekend!

There might have been some Icing’s going on this weekend? I’m just sayin’.

Poor Brett. {That face is priceless!} We had just returned from having dinner at Jardin & Corona, {our fav Mexican restaurant}, and Brett had a GIANT burrito. So needless to say the Smirnoff didn’t go down too well.

Ariel got Griff the next morning! She asked him if she could use some mayo for the sandwiches she was making for the river float and when Griff went to grab it there was a nice bottle of Smirnoff waiting for him. Mmmmmmm! Hung over Smirnoff’s are the best! Hence the low ridding hat!

This is the only picture I was in all weekend. Boo. Seems to work out that way a lot. Guess when you’re the one taking the pictures you never seem to make it in them.

I didn’t get any pictures of us floating the river. I need to remember to buy a waterproof camera one day. But I digress.

We needless to say had a blast this past weekend. We love when our friends come to visit!
