So... last year we had a combined birthday party for me and our friends, Nick, James, & Martin. Since we were all born in the 70's, and in the month of February, we decided to throw a 70's theme party. We were so impressed that all our friends actually dressed up that we decided to do something similar again this year. After weeks of racking my brain trying to think of something fun to do I finally settled on having a Mustache & Cleavage Party. It didn't take much to convince the boys to have this kind of party. I mean cleavage is well liked by women as well as men and who doesn't like a mustache? Mustaches are just plain funny and well, cleavage is just plain fun... for all parties involved.
We had lots of boobie and mustache themed food to serve at the party. We had Pringles Chips because the Pringles guy has a mustache; crackers and pepperoni, because... well, sometimes a woman's "you know whats" are referred to as... you get the idea. I made mustache shaped cookies and thanks to Amy for making the boobie cupcakes, complete with flesh colored icing and pink marshmellows for nips, and thanks to Liz for bringing the 7 Layer Dip, {yum}, and Hostess Snowballs complete with Dots Candy for nipples!! You truly out did yourselves ladies!!
I came dressed as MaryAnn from Gilligan's Island, Griff was Chuck Norris, Amy was Groucho Marx, Hannah was a cop, Liz was Captain Crunch, Nick was Fu-Man Chu, Brian was Ron Burgundy, and well you can see for yourself... :)
Thanks to everyone that came and helped Nick, Martin, James and I celebrate our burfdays!! We had a blast and we can't wait to do it again next year!!!
We love spending time with our 2 furry girls Charley and Eva! Griff is an electrical engineer who moonlights as a ninja, holding a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a blue belt in Brazilian Ju Jitzu, and a brown belt in Judo. I am an accounting manager for an SEO company by day, and by night I'm a decorating fool! I love to decorate our home, craft anything I can get my hands on; paint everything black, blog about our lives, and pretend to cook like Paula Dean.
