New stove!

Yes folks we've stepped into the 21st century and now have all stainless steel appliances. Well, except for the dishwasher but I have a plan for that, stay tuned.

We found our new range on Craigslist from a guy that bought a house and already had his own appliances. Score for us! Then today we sold our old range, again on Craigslist, to a really sweet lady and her daughter.

Our old range worked great, it was only a cosmetic change we longed for. Check out the old girl and the shinny new one!

New appliances are exciting!

Yes, I remember a time when I used to get excited about what Happy Hour we were hittin' up on any givin' day. Now I get excited about new appliances. Lame-O.

Anyway, without further ado I give you our new self-venting-over-the-range-stainless-steel microwave. It was a doozy gettin this old girl in place but ain't she purdy?

Before and afters of course. Up next? Getting a new shinny stove and rid of our 1992 Kmart special that came with the house.

Crawfish Ooh Yeah Boy!

Last weekend Griff decided we should have an impromptu crawfish boil. So we called up our friends, gathered the provisions and headed to our friends boat dock to grub down. Griff got in a set or two on the wake skate and I git much needed catching up time with my girl Poppy.

Griff bought some new tennis balls for Charley. She didn't know what to do! Hahahahahahahaha! Too many balls to choose from. Must have them all now.

New front door!

Finally! A new front door. I feel like our house just got herself a new pair of shoes! Lol. If font doors are like new shoes then new door hardware is like house jewelry. Griff and I love the new door. It totally makes a statement when you walk up now!

Color Run

Griff and I and some peeps from office ran in the Color Run last weekend. Well walk is more like it because it was so muddy! It rained the night before and holy crap was there mud. People were losing their shoes because the mud was so deep. I took my shoes off half way thru because they kept coming off. It was fun to act like kids again and get all muddy. I'm still trying to get the mud out of places!

At least that's what Griff and I have begrudgingly decided. However Charley had different ideas. This is what Griff saw when he walked out of the bathroom this morning. Charley thinking she was being sneaky and while no one was around she thought she jump back into bed.
